Job Description :


The incumbent will report to The Chief Financial Officer and be responsible to provide technology vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiatives that improve cost effectiveness. Lead the planning and implementation of the information systems to support local and central company operations and achieve cost effective ICT operations


 Key Accountabilities :

 *ICT Strategy*
 Develop, coordinate, guide, implement, and maintain the ICT strategic and operational plans, in order to support the overall business strategy

 *Organization systems architecture*
Develop and maintain the Organization systems architecture, by defining standards and protocols for data exchange, communications, software, and  interconnection of different business functions, in order to have it standardized across the organization
 
 *ICT Evaluation*
Provide advice and support on evaluation, selection, implementation and maintenance of information systems, to ensure an appropriate investment and action is applied within the strategic plan
 
 *Contract Review*
Review the organization’s hardware and software acquisition and maintenance contracts, in order to develop the organization master
purchase or lease agreements for hardware, software, maintenance and telecommunication services
 
 *ICT Performance*
Negotiate ICT service level agreements with the management of the organization, and monitor ICT systems performance, in order to ensure that the agreed service level is delivered
 
 *ICT Projects*
Manage the provision of ICT project requirements and computer services, including installation, configuration, maintenance and training, to ensure that the end user requirements, ICT standards, policies and procedures are applied
 
 *New Technologies*
Identify new ICT technologies that may enhance or replace the existing technology used in the company, to be able to advise and coordinate with potential user departments, in order to produce evaluation reports to determine technical suitability and cost effectiveness
 
 *ICT Infrastructure & Communications*
Manage the development, implementation and maintenance of infrastructure servers, the network and internal and external communications to ensure that the ICT infrastructure and communications are at the standard level of the end user
 
 
 *People Management*
Ensure and manage an effective ICT department, required number and quality of people, and effective people management in line with Sadafco’s HR policies, in order to enable realization of the departmental goals
 
 *Financial Management*
Set and participate in drafting the operating budget of ICT, and to be within set budget


Requirements:

  • A degree or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification
  • Specific diploma/education: Certified certificate in IT Management. Certifications such as PMP and CITPM would be preferred
  • Minimal experience of 10 years, in which 3 years holding similar position preferably from FMCG company
  • Excellent computer skills and experience with the Office suite of programs, including word, excel and outlook and data base applications
  • Committed, meticulous, independent with ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Experience in providing leadership to staff and in developing materials for use by non-IT staff in the application of new software
  • Ability to supervise staff, manage and implement projects to meet the projects’ desired results and deadlines
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Languages: English, Arabic preferred
  • Willing to relocate and stay in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

 

We offer a permanent employment, and an attractive remuneration package would be provided commensurate with the qualification and experiences of the selected candidate including salary within the range of *65.000 - 90.000 Euro* per annum Tax Free, accommodation for the family and schooling facility for children
